DRenewable Content in Product Offerings

Increasing the share of renewable and bio-based inputs is one of the ways in which we seek to lower the lifecycle impact of our product portfolio. Our work focuses on evaluating plant-derived, biomass-based and other renewable raw material alternatives that can be integrated into formulations without compromising product performance, quality or application reliability.

Renewable Content in Product Offerings

Material integration decisions are guided by scalability, technical compatibility, supply-chain readiness, safety and consistency of performance. This requires close collaboration across product development, procurement and supplier partners to identify suitable alternatives, validate formulations and enable broader adoption where feasible.

In FY 2025-26, renewable and bio-based materials accounted for 7.0% of raw materials used in product offerings, excluding water. We will continue to evaluate alternatives based on environmental impact, performance compatibility, safety and supply availability to support a gradual transition towards more sustainable inputs.
